I’m getting weight loss surgery.

I know, it’s a harsh topic to write about. But body image is everywhere, there is literally no escape. So, packing on pounds is tough and when it gets bad, there are many health concerns that may occur. Let’s discuss mine and you’ll hopefully be better.

forgive yourself

This is what I learned during this clearance process. I simply got fat and it didn’t happen over night. I battled domestic violence, depression, financial struggles, and single-parenting. My coping mechanism was food. Food is delicious and that ain’t changing so deal with it and forgive yourself.

ignore opinions

Please suck and will tell you all sorts of opinions which have nothing to do with you. You have to literally make the move that is best for you. Dropping pounds goes beyond eating less and moving more, life happens so follow you own opinion. Remind, all those social media hotties, aren’t you.

get help

Start with your healthcare provider. For me, I snored like a caveman, always woke up with no energy, was borderline diabetic, and the weight was killing my knees. I picked up a CPAP machine, a week, before my 40th birthday. That was my last straw, I’ve followed the advise of my healthcare providers ever since my consultation.
